We all know this girl tends to favor gold over silver, but there’s something about the other metallic that really can make a wedding, well, shine. As you gear up for winter wedding planning, or just start taking note for your next-fall nuptials, I suggest dipping your toes into the silvery lake of subtle details that can make any reception absolutely glisten. Here are some cost-effective and striking ways to make it work. I find that working in smaller pops of color throughout a reception space can enhance the theme without creating an overkill, matchy-matchy situation. Silver is a great color to do this with because of its ethereal properties and of course, its endlessly applicable nature. Consider silver candles or candlesticks on the tables integrating with white. The light from the flame will bounce off and radiate, making the glow even more gorgeous as the night wears on.
